Yep, those are Thompsons. They were the later models that took the stick magazines. The original ones took a 50-round drum with a coil spring you wound to feed the cartridges.

The Thompson 45 has always been a very good looking weapon to me. I appreciate knowing it's proper identity.

I'm not sure where I picked up the wrong name. It could have been an early media misidenfication circa the erra of that show.
