I believe you misinterpreted. You may be right, but I understood it as booing Moore because of the audience reaction to his slamming of Moore as he went on.

I think you missed the joke...the phrase "That's the ticket! Yeah!" was always used by the Jon Lovitz character "The Congenital Liar" on SNL. :)
