Hillary Clinton as Hitler, born again in one of the devil's many disquises, is easily self-evident; she detests the rule of and would much rather have her rule by Party judges and judge-made law; she is nearly, completely opposed to adherence to the due process of our democratic-republic and only follows along with it as she finds this process useful to her rise to power; she vicariously has become the controlling interest in a vast leftwing media empire that is being built as a propaganda machine loyal only to her (Evercore Partners, NYC); the Bill of Rights are uttlerly stripped, by her, of their purpose, which is to affirm a few of our many, yet very important, individual freedoms by which we protect ourselves from government abuse, excess, and tyranny; etc.
What Mr. Gernon is trying to convey, is that a person who is concious of the need of the people to muster their indivdual rights into a well-regulated, Armed military force, for their common defense, to exercise martial power authorized by the duly elected representatives of the people sitting in legislature ... this, Mr. Gernon is trying to sell, is "militarism."
Instead of all the lawful heritage and our respect for due process by which we defend liberty, Mr. Gernon asks his followers and audience to stare only at "militarism." With the paint brush and many layers of the available imagery of Hitler's use of Germany's state police, state security military, and military, all very harsh and "very scary," on this point, he piles on his fears of it; that, he wants us to buy.
Well, I agree that the worst killer throughout history, second to disease, has been bad government and its abuse, its excess, and its tyranical use of its martial power: its militarism.
What escapes Mr. Gernon, is that, "militarism" is exactly this terror: bad government and its coercive manifestations.
Hitler's ill will makes great film drama, because it was captured on film. While Lenin and Stalin's ill will --- because of the fact that the socialists (thank the leftists, such as Mr. Gernon and his companions for extermination and then extermination of the records of the extermination) were smart enough to bury the story --- has not made such great film drama. To wit: Hitler's national socialist militarism is available to see much more readily than Lenin and Stalin's and Hillary Clinton's nationalizing socialist militarism.
The vast left wing being marginally more devious on the public record, "in the name of peace," whenever you inquire about the left's coercive ways --- the proof --- you get the same answer:
"I don't recall."
The more Mr. Gernon makes an argument for Hitler's national socialist militarism, the more this sad show blocks the view of Hillary's nationalizing socialist militarism coming to a theatre of operations near you.

The producer of the CBS miniseries "Hitler: The Rise of Evil" says it is a warning to the American people that if they don't watch out the Bush administration could morph into a carbon copy of Hitler's National Socialist dictatorship. I just called my local CBS affiliate program director and told her my opinion of this.
I also let her know that if this was show was broadcast on WCCO TV, I would remove the CBS channel from my TVs (very easy to do with an electronic TV tuner).
I hope others will do likewise.

Sorry for bringing this up, but I've read many a post right here on FR, accusing this President of being a 'socialist' and comparing him to Hitler.
You don't have to go to the far left to find hatred of Bush so deep that all rational thought is lost in ideological tunnel vision. You can find it on the right as well.
And as far as I'm concerned, it's even more hideous when it comes from people who claim to be Conservatives who love this country, than it is from these mindless leftists who obviously hate it.

CBS' record on doubletalk isn't to good. If anything, the comments are a window into the soul of those people in the CBS news division who have helped to divide Americans and fan the flames of hatred.
I would like to see more of the thoughts and opinions of the news people, especially when they think the mike is off.

This is insane.... and makes me very irritated that you can only boycott a station once. I haven't allowed CBS on my television for months.

Of course leftists call Bush Hitler. Sixty years ago, they would have called Churchill Hitler. What they would have called Hitler himself, who knows? But the problem comes from the fact that they call God Satan. That's why they see everything else in reverse.

CBS President Leslie Moonves quickly separated himself from Gernon's disgusting tirade, telling TV Guide he doesn't share the filmmaker's highly paranoid views and doesn't subscribe to the Bush-Hitler comparison. So don't air the miniseries.
(Like THAT'll ever happen_.

Drives me crazy! Hitler was a socialist, NOT a conservative. The lefties have rewritten history to suit their own socialist views. It is the left we have to watch and worry about!!!!

There's a lot of people who feel that way..isn't surprising..time to separate the kids and the adults?? Why draw attention?

...he sees the program as a warning for Americans about the Bush administration. Yeah, I can picture the miniseries now... Hitler speaks of 'evildoers' with a Texas accent, and promises to "leave no Jew behind."

Would SeeBS have the guts to announce their list of sponsors before broadcasting this crap? Not on your life.

May 7, 2002 - Los Angeles - Ed Gernon, Executive Vice President, Television Movies, Miniseries and Motion Pictures, ALLIANCE ATLANTIS ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, announced today that ALLIANCE ATLANTIS has optioned the rights to Richard Blow's best selling book AMERICAN SON, based on the life of John F. Kennedy, Jr., to be made into a two hour movie for CBS and produced in association with True Entertainment.
"From the beginning, what attracted us all to this story was the simple human journey - a man coming of age, set against America's obsession with celebrity. In this case, JFK, Jr. was struggling against not so much his own family's legacy, as the American people's expectation of it," commented Mr. Gernon.

This guy is absolutely correct to compare Hollywood leftists to Stalin. Who, by the way, murdered far more people then Hitler.
