I respect anyone who has served the armed forces honorably.

With that being said, past deeds don't make you a present-day patriot.

We should respect every veteran for the service they have done for their country. BUT, a vet is also responsible for his actions and behavior once they return to the civilian sector. Kerry has disgraced himself, his political party and our brave troops now abroad by his remarks. He must be judged by those remarks. He also is a lier as he said he would stop campaigning during this war and hasn't.

Stupid move. Believe it or not, even here in New Jersey a poll taken this week shows two-thirds of the state support the President and the war. That says a lot coming from the state who voted in McGreevey and Lautenberg.
