For all the ink and broadcast time expended to air the bickering between the Pentagon leadership and commentators over the war plan for Iraq, some of the most important comments have received far too little attention. We have in mind the informed view of Gen. Richard B. Myers, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

It always was a phased mobilization plan. No way were we ever going to send 500,000 troops there like last time. Rumsfeld and our Joint Cheifs wanted a template for future engagements.

Our only problems/mistakes were:

Yes, but the bottom line is we have truly professional troops that fight with might, but haven't lost their hearts, moral values, or integrity. They are the most educated soldiers in the world, when you consider a lot of enlisted have college degrees, or have worked toward that.

I am so proud of our military, but especially the grunts on the ground that are dirty, tired, and working hard to ensure safety of not only their own, but of innocent Iraqi's. Truly a well disciplined force that doesn't compare.

Ask any soldier and they will say, "I don't want to go to war, but if the call comes in I will serve my country to the best of my abilities". They do that, and a whole lot more. God bless these brave, disciplined warriors. He11 even our women are as tough as nails - HOOAH Jessica Lynch!!!

If this operation ends up a as successful as it has been, I see many men joining our military and having great pride in doing so. Everybody loves a winner.

 This war will be the ultimate recruiting vehicle!
