If she was violated, how do we who believe in the sanctity of all life deal with a pregnancy which may result?I think it's a fair question. Militant pro-lifers...Can you even imagine? I cannot...Men brag about impregnating...How could anyone ask a possible victim like Jessica to endure such degradation and humiliation, even in the name of so-called "innocent unborn"?...But for the militant pro-lifers, I think you already know the answer they would give-- Jessica would have to carry the monster's baby to term and deliver it. And live the rest of her life possibly feeling she did an honor to that thug who brutalized her...
Where did you come from, newbie? The girl's from WV and from I've seen she and her family are strong Christians. She and they may be what you call "militant pro-lifers." Whenever a rape victim (and we don't know that she is) decides to keep her "so-called innocent unborn" child (as you say), it is a victory for decency and humanity, not for the rapist. If you can't understand that, you're a twisted troll.

Define "Militant Pro-lifer" for me please.
Thanks

There are more people waiting to adopt than babies to be adopted.
The sin done to this girl doesn't justify the sin of abortion committed against the innocent child.
I would blame the culture, the abortion propaganda and the medical people more than the girl who might choose an abortion.
The vast majority of military doctors will not perform abortions.

Interesting point, never thought of the medal aspect, and hope it doesn't come up because that would just be one more feminist point of contention, and real hero's don't need medals.

Ah yes, Reese Witherspoon. I couldn't think of her name, but she'd be perfect.

Susan Sarandon - But I would like to see the Iraqi torture experts used as experts on the set. To make sure everything is done correctly. It needs to become real for Susan.

It's not too late for an extremely early medical abortion (using meds to interefere with implantation). She's been captive less than two weeks.
I know some are opposed to interfering with implantation at any stage of pregnancy, but I think many rational conservatives would admit under circumstances of rape that it should be her call.

Everyone cracks under torture, at some point. The one way someone dies before they've talked is if the torturer is unskilled. A human being simply can't endure it.
Interesting, though (and this isn't directed specifically at you, KMS); some weeks ago, when it was reported that the United States was using torture against "terrorist combatants" or whatever, I was pretty much fighting a one man battle decrying such activity as inhumane and barbaric.
Where were most of ya'll then? Or do you only think that torture is bad when some other country uses it?

Will THIS bring it home to the left that their espousal of moral equivalence between the Iraqis and us is wrong? The left will ignore this completely. It will never make so much as one mainstream leftist publication, and not one major TV news broadcast. If anyone picks it up,l it will be Fox News.
But then the leftists are expert when it comes to ignoring the obvious especially when it conflicts with their hate-America agenda.

Just say no to torture.

Could we at least make an exception for Helen Thomas?
Seriously, there are circumstances in which I feel torture is justified. It is certainly justified to get info that a nuclear device is planted in NY and the clock is ticking.

it's Tori Spelling...

These Iraqis are monsters on the level with the German Nazi's; Russian, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Cuban Communists; Imperial Japanese; followers of Idi Amin, ...
The Nazis had no monopoly on unbelievable, subhuman brutality. In fact, Nazi treatment of POWs (as opposed to "untermensch" civilians rounded up for the "final solution") was relatively tame. Partucularly compared to the treatment meted out by the Japanese, North Koreans, and North Vietnamese. I'm not "defending" the Nazis, here, just making sure the Communists and non-ideological thugs get the credit they deserve.
She was fighting to the death," a U.S. official told The Post. "She did not want to be taken alive." I can understand perfectly why Jessica would put up the fight that she did---the thought of being taken alive by evil, filthy Iraqui scumbags is a powerful motivator.
God bless this brave young woman!!!! A 5'5" water truck driver, she fought like a true warrior: until she had no more bullets left, and then she fought with her fists, I'm sure.
