Fox says one tunnel goes all the way to the river. I thought they said quite a few miles.

Indianapolis Airport does not have any major tunnels, as far as I know. But then, we don't have subways here, either. In Indianapolis, you leave the terminal and walk across the street to a parking garage. That's it.

Fox says one tunnel goes all the way to the river.

The layout of Saddam International doesn't appear to lend itself to under-tramac, or under-runway tunnels. There are two terminal buildings, connected by a roadway. A tunnel to river seems odd.

Isn't the swing of topic amazing? Less than 3 weeks ago, concerns about the UN's inaction. Then Bush and Blair set out the future course from the Azores on the 16th, UN scrambled on the 17th, bush gave Saddam 48 hours, and he wasn't kidding. Now we are talking about the tunnels under an Iraqi airport!

I read on another thread days ago that the bunker under Saddam's palace (can't remember if it was one or all of the palaces) led to tunnels that also led ou to the Tigris.
