It's pretty bad. The worst of it is the lack of reporting on both.
If all these bleeding heart liberals really cared about human rights and such they'd have been all over these stories for years.
Instead they'd rather lie to the public about stupid stuff like Enron.
You should read the horror stories of dissidents that get out of Cuba. Many go back. It's horrible.

Fox - Greg Kelly's back. Expecting more of "this stuff"
And you're right about focusing in where fire is coming from. I remember a special from the Kosovo campaign about our ability to use radar to determine exactly where incoming sniper fire was coming from, and to return fire on that exact path. The Israelis used a similar technology with a .50bmg on a crane during the incident at the Church of the Nativity last year. I can only presume the technology has advanced considerably.

3rd ID only 6 miles from BAG! wow!
It's going to be marked off bit by bit and controlled. We will move the civilians into safe zones and God help the Iraqi military left in the hot zones.

It made sense to me. If they want to charge our tanks with AKs then let's thin the herd. I keep saying to reports of these suicide wanna-be's: our military is saying, "make my day!"

Anyone heard any news about the F/A-18 CSAR operation?Nope...Pentagon is still looking for the F18 crew AND the Blackhawk crew. No other news, after all these hours.

The Israelis used a similar technology with a .50bmg on a crane during the incident at the Church of the Nativity last year. I can only presume the technology has advanced considerably. The Los Angeles Sheriff set that system up here in SoCal in Willowbrook in south central L.A. on New Year's eve a few years ago to try and stop some of the shooting at midnight. After several hundred shots the system was too overloaded.
Back to the drawing board.

LOL, I heard about that system when I lived down there. It's basically a bunch of sensitive mics, which are used to triangulate the position of a gunshot. Very rudimentary compared to what the military uses for counter-sniper and counter-artillery.

Isn't Ollie's company a good ways back? Best I can tell the guys closest to Baghdad(at least from the south) captured that close in bridge over the Tigris(around Salman Pak?) while Ollie is coming up from Al Kut.
