Army 3rd ID swept up Euphrates to the airport...running battles all along the way...significant deaths...we're now in control.. strategically important staging ground...can fly in supplies.

I heard a reporter embedded with them today on the radio, NPR, I think.

His whole report was about people standing on the road, waving to them. It was swell.
