320 Iraqi soldiers have died. Few, if any, on coalition side.... 4 regular Iraqi army divisions + irregular loners (war criminals)...
Army 3rd ID swept up Euphrates to the airport...running battles all along the way...significant deaths...we're now in control.. strategically important staging ground...can fly in supplies.

Army 3rd ID swept up Euphrates to the airportI heard a reporter embedded with them today on the radio, NPR, I think.
His whole report was about people standing on the road, waving to them. It was swell.
