I just saw a clip of Arnot's reporting. He was feeding the family. It's amazing reporting.

Any finds right now would be based on intelligence and I'm sure it will go through the line of command and be broadcast under circumstances similar to last night.
The media may have a clue when we ask for air time and the clue last night was "good news". We have to be careful to protect our sources within Baghdad. We're all impatient for good news.

Interesting:
Does Islam permit gambling?
(They prohibit most other vices in their own cities, then the wealthy tend to go overseas and dance, drink, and employ prostitutes.... )
(Women's clothes is usually very, very restricted as a "modesty" rule - actually it subordinates women, but lets not tell NOW that - they don't want to encourage Bush to free the region.)
Slavery in Saudia Arabia was legal, encouraged, and active until 1962. Slavery is still practiced illegally throughout the backwaters of Africa in Islamic states, but I think everybody in the Mideast has prohibited it.
But I've never heard gambling mentioned!

What caused you to speculate that they are building gallows. It seems to me that they can easily hoist a body up a flag pole that is already in existance. That area looks like a town square complete with flag poles.

No confirm from DOD that we have control of it. DOD isn't saying why the lights are out. They are saying we didn't do it.

I keep thinking of the tunnel from the airport to the river. Guess who's "holding" the light at the end of the tunnel?? :-)

MSNBC BLEW IT! ... they should have aired more of the report Exactly, if the photographer risked his life to film all that why only show a small part. Makes no sense.
