What caused you to speculate that they are building gallows. It seems to me that they can easily hoist a body up a flag pole that is already in existance. That area looks like a town square complete with flag poles.

We'll ALL know it's over when Saddam, Uday and Qusay are side-by-side on gallows. It seemed a logical reason why the camera would stay up in the capital of a city at war.

The alternative, mercifully, did not come to pass. I feared they would hang captured soldiers in hopes that we overreact and provoke a GLOBAL jihad.
