Well-apparently his exact quote was " The enemy we are fighting is a Bit Different from the one we war gamed against"- which changes the meaning of his comments totally. The NYT just outted themselves BIG TIME!

Thaat's so mean! :) All these comments keep reminding me of Steve Martin in, "The Jerk" saying he was born a poor black child.

I agree with the "puff" of the regime... Iraqi "Power Puff Girls". :) Well, I meant "puff" in the sense of bigger talk than the action can support. I think the coalition has had a tough fight -- just because it looks easy doesn't mean it is easy. Lots of bravery out there.
Meanwhile, Brian Williams (the least credible reporter, according to polls) of MSNBC reports we (the Brits) are still bogged down in the south.

Powell hasn't been successful in mending fences.Considering the huge Concrete Wall that Chirac & Schroeder put up between us, who cares about a stupid fence? If they want to make amends, they know where to find us, is my opinion.
I think a "major league suck-up" is required in this case. As far as I have seen, they are still spouting the same crap making the wall thicker and higher.
I hope President Bush has enough common sense to see that these Old Europeans are not our friends.

The Euro weenies should all be given a small spoon and told to dig out the Iraqi sewer systems.
They'll meet loads of similar types down there and feel right at home.

IMO .. once Saddam is gone and these people know he cannot hurt them any more .. you will hear the media reporting stories that will make you cry and thank the Good Lord above the we were lucky to have been born in the USA Listen, if you have ever known someone from Iraq, you KNOW how brutalized that society has been. I have known over a dozen. Students here have to get good grades and go back: their family's held hostage, for example. The stories are numerous, and very few Iraqis have not been brutalized in some way by Saadumb.

I hope President Bush has enough common sense to see that these Old Europeans are not our friends. Powell said this morning that the UN role was undetermined. I say to our "allies," if they want a role, "How about camel pooper scooper?

OK, we got ugly on the BagCam, but take a look at what's on patrol in Safwan:
Corporal Sharon Aster, Her Majesty's Adjutant Generals Corps
She joined one of the first British patrols to take off their helmets in the town of Safwan. And her stunning looks and sunny smile won her an army of admirers. Sharon, 25, from the Wirral, Cheshire, said: I cant believe the reception Ive had it must be my long blonde hair. The kids and some of their dads have been queuing up to give me a kiss its totally unexpected.
She was the centre of attention as she handed out water, sweets and biscuits to children in the rundown town near the Kuwaiti border. She even allowed the smiling kids to try on her camouflaged desert helmet in return for a peck on the cheek.
A crowd of 100 gathered around her Land Rover and she struggled to make an exit as watchful colleagues scanned the dangerous streets for snipers.
Sharon, who is married to military intelligence corporal Alex Astor, 25, said: Its nice to get my helmet off and show the locals that were human. MORE HERE
Meanwhile, who knew---Vladimir Putin is really Peewee Herman!

I threatened to sell my Daughter into slavery if she didn;t behave.. even had a friend come over and "Draw up the contract". Worked like a charm when she was 6! But then she became a teenager and got me back. ROFL!!!!!!
Oh well, all's well that end's well -- she is now married and has provided me with two absolutely precious granddaughters (one of which she has threatened to sell into slavery LOL!)

I love Camille too, though I don't always agree with her. And, as an aside, I just can't keep up with this thread today from the office:)

Well, I can laugh about it now.
And it helps me to not get too mad at my oldest son doing the same to my youngest.
