Nobody even knows what really happened, and some of you are making this girl into a mythological heroine. I read where she was driving one of the trucks that got lost, so for God's sakes, you don't know that she wasn't the fool that got them lost in the first place.

You guys can worship the ground this young lady walks on, but not me. I don't have anything personal against her, and I'm very glad her Daddy has her back, but she had no business anywhere near a combat zone. Her, nor any female.

This is the kind of horror that Bill Clinton wrought and how he has further destroyed the military. This is his legacy.

She did have business there. She wanted to serve, and her country sent her there. That was her business for being there. It doesn't fit your narrow view of where women should be, but you aren't running things, nor do I expect you will ever get your way on this one.

Don't mistake your world for the real one. She had very good business to "be there". And no one is doing anything here except trying to celebrate a good news story. She is as much of a hero as anyone else who has come through fire in this war. She's been tested, and it appears she passed.

Nobody even knows what really happened,

So because of that she shouldn't be believed. I could care less about any political overtones or how it affects anybody's agenda. Her story is an individual story.

I am getting the hint that some think her story should be pooh-poohed or slapped down regardless of what it is because it upsets an agenda. Her story is judged on its overall political effect.

Sorry, not going down that Democratic path. Her story is what it is.
