I just want to say that I have just finished reading "Bush At War" and was even more impressed with the President. Freepers should read this account of the war on terrorism by Bob Woodward, to be sure, no natural fan of the Republican president.

when it really wasn't necessary? Has this worm-IQ moron been watching? He can witness the actions of this regime, the stockpiles of atropine injectors and chemical gear, the hostages, the execution of POWs, the murderous rampages against their own population and say this wasn't necessary? That some solution that left these murderous psychotics in power was acceptable?
This writer is a man of gargantuan, titanic stupidity. And no moral character.
He is a man who actually deserves to live under Saddam Hussein.

Yawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn........ How come no one ever asks the actual military men and women what they think. I live in Fayetteville NC home of Fort Bragg and they were ready to roll. No fear. No why me. They were ready to knock heads.

If Bush's so tight with God, maybe the rats should just lay low for a while.

This pile of crap is the "rant d'jour" with the press, if you saw the presser today.
And I agree with you about Woodward's book; he tried hard, but ended up liking and admiring Bush.

I'm constantly amazed (though I shouldn't be) by how much W is hated by the left.
While the left is going on about God and Bush, I wonder if the left knows just how much Jesus was hated during his ministry, and how anxious the Pharisees were to kill him. Just something for the self-righteous left to think about.

If any forbidden materials were found, world tribunals could have prosecuted dictator Saddam Hussein.

Just who would have done that? The U.N.? The French?

Professor Katherine van Wormer of the University of Northern Iowa, an expert in addiction, says Bush has many qualities of a "dry drunk," a former alcoholic who stopped drinking but still thinks obsessively.

Oooohhhh. Maybe she can someday become Dean van Wormer and fight a rogue fraternity.

It's amazing. I used to be one of the "silent majority" but I am no longer. Any time I see this tripe I write a response. It may not do any good, but I let idiots like this know that they are wrong and I know where their bitterness comes from.
An e-mail and a glass of wine, it always makes the day better.

Why did the president insist on an unnecessary war? False premise. Or, at least, unproven, to be generous.

And gassing 5000 Kurds was something Saddam promised not to do again..........Training terrorists using an actual Boeing 707 as a training platform was just a rouse......! 10,000 Iraqi citizens vanishing thru his torture system each year is just a snaffu.......
As far as rabid democrats are concerned, Bush is the global enemy. He kills his people with tax decreases, smaller government, faith based initiatives, and rescuing partially born fetuses from an ice pick to the back of the brain.
Maybe if they keep it up, they won't even hold a decimal point over 33&1/3 in congress. It would be mighty damn funny to see them not even able to muster 1/3 of this country's seats. If that happens they will convert to Islam and declare Jihad.
