The school, while saying the professor was exercising his right to free speech, has distanced itself from his comments.

How do you distance yourself from something an employee of yours said at a company function? Inquiring minds would like to know.

But that's it-- academe ain't like other REAL businesses. Academe just ain't Darwinian enough. When the weak are permitted not only to survive but to propagate, the "company" itself suffers.

That's why I'm trying to get the heck out... Too much sickly inbred "intellectualism"...

The Teach in was not officially held by the university, but by professors and the CU Anti-War Coalition.
