Well, Duh! In San Fran the police busted a "peace" protester with a molotov cocktail. Maybe Americans are simply getting tired of allowing home-grown terrorists to thrive and prosper. Maybe it's time we imprisoned Sarandon, Robbins, Sheen, et al, for the seditionists they are.
To: InHisImage
Polls have found roughly two-thirds of the country currently favors the war. And while many Americans - including critics of the anti-war movement - agree that protesters have the right to express their views, they don't necessarily want to hear what those views are.
I know my math is bad, but when did 72% become 2/3?

Nice find. The CSM once was a good place to get an unbiased reporting of the news. No longer.

Another thing to look at is what occurred during the 8 years of demoRAT Clintoonian politics. Somalia, Haiti, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Sudan, Iraq and Yugoslavia were bombed by Clintoon. Where were the protestors? Not one, nada. Now we have a Republican president who is willing to take on the world's terrorists with the support of a coalition force made up of over 40 countries. The 60's style of protestors are out in full force. My question is what group or groups are behind these protestors with their own political agenda? Regardless, I'm glad to note that the anti-war protestors aren't winning the public relations battle.

2/3 is 66.67%... I guess 72% is 'close enough'. Then again, it's closer to 3/4 than it is to 2/3.

"Somalia, Haiti, Bosnia..."
Yep, I ask 'em if they protested those and when they say no I ask them if they supported them and honest ones will say yet. Shuts them up.
Or if it doesn't punch them in the nose and then tell 'em to practice diplomacy and non-violence all that and when they agree that's the solution punch 'em in the nose again...
It's a pure Bush thing, some are simply useful idiots looking for a cheap date, many of the organizers are outright commies that didn't have problem one with Bubba, but heck, he's one of them.
To: jimduchek
3 more points and it's 3/4. It's well over 2/3, right?
Am I just being anal?

Well, I for one questioned their sincerity, but after they left bowel movements on the sidewalk in San Francisco I said to myself, "Bill, there go some truly dedicated, high-minded idealists."

The insults lobbed at war protesters range from Boston hecklers calling them "traitors" It is about time we got some good press.

Quite right! While their boy the Rapist was infesting the WH, the so called anti-war protestors were nowhere to be seen. (I guess they were living in hi-rises with the homeless, who now also have reappeared because there's a Republican in the WH.) They are not so much anti-war as they are anti-Bush.

Those who protest insist, for the most part, that they support the troops.
This kind of support we don't need....

They did qualify it with 'roughly'.
To: InHisImage
I actually think what they are doing is helpful to conservatism. They show what complete loons exist on the left and they're forcing Dem lawmakers to choose sides and/or expose their own views. Quite instructive.
To: Ron H.
That's pretty over the top, yet instructive. The best way to discredit the anti-war movement is to give them the forum in which to discredit themselves.
