Anyone else catch that footage on MSNBC? I think I was witnessing the attack that wiped out those Iraqi divisions earlier today...was on night vision...dark green with a constant wave of missles blowing up the battlefield...zooom, zoom, zoom...two every second..the camera was pointed downrange...You could see the missles streaking across the desert and there was nothing but a massive glowing cloud where they were hitting...You couldn't see any impacts...because it was too bright...It looked like a mushroom cloud..only made from 100% fire and no smoke...a stream of missles just kept pouring onto the location...just amazing. Our guys really kicked ass today.

FN: Ollie North (after Bill Richardson's appearance on Hannity and Colmes" re. all the folks wanting to show they "care" about the Iraqi people now) : "I have in my hand one of those humanitarian rations...Marines are handing out 10s of thousands of rations...food, water, the kind the things you would expect the military to do...Quite frankly, given that it's the second-largest oil producing nation, rebuilding should not be a problem...

"I've watched the wonderful coverage FoxNews has put on...Rick Leventhal, Greg Kelly...it gives the lie to some of this negative reporting...I wonder where these reporters are?....going without water (etc.), sure hasn't happened where I am."

"When we crossed the Euphrates River 5, 6 days ago...everybody said this was going to be a tough battle......same w/ Tigris.."It's likely that Baghdad will collapse from within." "The Marines are letting these people go back home (they point out where chem. equipm., etc) "because they know that what most of these Iraqis want is to live in freedom." "You prepare for the worse. You hope for the best and you settle for somewhere in between."

Ollie rocks!

Hmm. Krispy Kreems warm enough to need tongs... Sounds like a plan. Now, if they will just put a shop in my state...

I want a Schlotzky's Deli too.

You really get to see what kind of man he is and what he went thru during Vietnam, pre-Contra hearing, and hearings. The updated book I have has a really cool picture of him, his wife, President Bush and Laura in front of the White House Christmas tree in December 2001.

I read somewhere that his wife, Betsy is a direct descendant of Jeb Stuart, Confederate General.

calls him a dry drunk.

That's an ignorant use of a phrase. "Dry drunk" in my definition is an alcoholic who no longer drinks but who hasnt' confronted the psychological, emotional or spiritual aspect of the disease.

I think that few people, even in the media, can argue that President Bush is one of the most spiritual leaders we've had in a long time. He's happily married, has close friends and good familiy relationships which speaks to his confident psyche. And his emotions have always seemed appropriate to the situation--also he isn't intimidated or embarrased to let them show, which is a sign of an emotionally healthy person.

Usually, the one doing the criticizing is the one with the real issues. Does Tina Brown work for the Slimes?

The race is not always to the swift, nor the contest to the strong... but that's the way to bet. :-)

On the BagCam, a balck bird landed on the top of a flag pole, looked at the statue of Saddam, and quickly flew away.

It's also important to remember that the "small arms" that brought this down could be any of a wide variety of things. Could be a fairly large mounted machine gun or RPG even. It doesn't mean that somebody got lucky with a pistol or an AK 47.

Major kudos are in order for the CSAR groups. Those guys are the real heroes of this or any war.

Yes, they are. God bless them.

Personally, I think Stevie Nicks looks like she must have swallowed a goat (and everything else in the fridge).

Tragic. Remember when Linda Rhonstadt and Stevie Nicks were hot and war was cold?

Fourteen days and 336 hours since the start of this effort against Iraq.

Is all lost yet? Are we totally wiped out yet? I haven't bothered to read the Wash Post or NY Times today! lol

I think it was Orrin Hatch that said, "America can wait 10 weeks for an American Idol to be decided, 2 weeks isn't a long, drawn out war"! Or something like that.

Tina Brown was known to have the hots for Clinton for a long while so we know what kind of mentality she has.
