FN: Ollie North (after Bill Richardson's appearance on Hannity and Colmes" re. all the folks wanting to show they "care" about the Iraqi people now) : "I have in my hand one of those humanitarian rations...Marines are handing out 10s of thousands of rations...food, water, the kind the things you would expect the military to do...Quite frankly, given that it's the second-largest oil producing nation, rebuilding should not be a problem...

"I've watched the wonderful coverage FoxNews has put on...Rick Leventhal, Greg Kelly...it gives the lie to some of this negative reporting...I wonder where these reporters are?....going without water (etc.), sure hasn't happened where I am."

"When we crossed the Euphrates River 5, 6 days ago...everybody said this was going to be a tough battle......same w/ Tigris.."It's likely that Baghdad will collapse from within." "The Marines are letting these people go back home (they point out where chem. equipm., etc) "because they know that what most of these Iraqis want is to live in freedom." "You prepare for the worse. You hope for the best and you settle for somewhere in between."

Ollie rocks!

When Ollie firt said chemi.....protection equip, there was such a pause and almost er correction, I thought he was halfway saying chemical weapons. Personally, I think they've found plenty of chems, but want to keep it quiet until after victory. JMHO
