I don't even see Shep's photo; just a soldier in profile and one with a dog. Are there different Drudge sites?

A disgruntled California man has demanded the mayor of Burlingame remove the many yellow ribbons displayed on a major retail thoroughfare and to apologize to "any person who may have been offended by his illegal actions," reports the San Mateo Daily Journal.
Send this bestid to Baghdad. I'm certain they don't have any yellow ribbons to offend him there.

My friend referrees kids soccer on the weekends, he was telling me there's a muslim kid on a team in the area with the name "Osama", the team roster crossed out the first and last letter and called him "Sam", but still, that kid's gonna get made fun of so badly with that name

After the last Presidential election I caught about 5-10 minutes of the Real World. This
very skanky girl was going on a blind date with a guy. She really seemed to like him at first and they were getting along great. They were on the subway and the date mentioned that he voted for George Bush. There date hadn't even really started yet. She called one of her roommates and made an excuse for why she had to leave. Then she went off on this rant about why she could never, ever date anyone who voted Republican even once.
I just about threw my remote through the TV.

From another thread:
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - NBC News veteran Tom Brokaw is America's most trusted network anchor, but his heir apparent, Brian Williams, is the least, according to a TV Guide poll released on Wednesday.
Hooo-boy. NBC gonna be in a world of hurt. What to do, what to do. Bet there is a bit of hand-wringing over that, in NBC offices.

Never mind, I went back and refreshed the page.

And what is the message my generation reiceves: "This is how cool people act out in the "real world" they act skanky and republicans are evil..."
If only I could find a smart, conservative, non-skanky girl around here...
Alas, it shall have to wait for college I guess...

Couldn't have said it better myself, Arne!
And I think MANY in that 75% are there because they are starting to refuse to buy into the 'guilt' trip laid on them by the media (in the 25%).
I remember a quote I heard by a person I considered to be totally in the peace/ecology/for the children/rights for the downtrodden group, shortly after 9/11. She said,
"With all that happened to us as a people on 9/11, who the hell cares about an endangered species."
Encapsulated my opinion to a "T"...and showed me that rampant liberalism MIGHT be a cureable disease.

My dad had an uncle whose name was Adolph- then WWII happened. He changed it to Ralph, but at least he was grown. I can't imagine a little boy!

I can't wait for college next year... highschool is just...well... full of dumb peopleGood luck! Sadly, there's a lot of imbecility on college campi as well. I don't know what your intended major is, but try to hang around with grad students and "non-traditional" students whenever possible.
The grad students tend to be crazy, but they know what's up in academia. The non-trads know what's up in Real Life.

Can someone post the link for the Freeper pics site?

I know. I fear for my grandchildren, one of which will start junior high next year. Her parents are trying to teach their children to be leaders, not followers, so maybe they will keep their heads on straight. Like you. There is so much peer pressure for kids these days.

PETERBOROUGH, N.H. (AP) Regardless of how successful the United States is in waging war against Iraq, it will take a new president to rebuild the country's damaged relationships with the rest of the world, Sen. John Kerry said Wednesday.
Rats just can't help it can they? What sick bestids they are.

Thank you!
