She stays.

Besides her courage, consider this: 2 weeks of war, 2 pinup girls; one per week. KEEP THEM BOTH!!!

Can us ladies get a belly boy or hero picture too?

Of course! Some nominations were made on earlier threads.

Belly Girl "materialized" here - there was no formal procedure. I would suggest though that you ladies start a thread and nominate your fav's. Which ever wins gets posted as the ladies pin-up.

FYI, from BBC:

B-52 bombers dropped six new precision-guided 1,000-pound (454 kg) "cluster" bombs on Iraqi tanks defending Baghdad, the US military said on Wednesday.

Officials said it was the first ever use of the CBU-105 bombs which each contain 10 armour-destroying bomblets.

Whether Iraq wants to be in OPEC is going to be their ultimate decision I would say. I think OPEC - i.e. Saudis - just might be shaken up a bit with a new player who is bringing billions of barrels of negotiating heft to the game. Who really knows? We have a fiduciary duty in the short term to get the proceeds directed to their reconstruction.

That's why objective one in this poorly planned Rumsfeld debacle was to secure the fields, pipelines and terminals. That was job one in our quest to survive the aftermath of this ridiculously bold and historic endeavor. We're toppling Hitler ... and it's 1936. The world can thank us later.

You mean this one? This is the only one I have. A freeper (I forget who) did a b/w version without the text, I think.

Just switched over to CNN and they all look down-in-the-mouth over our troops' success. This bring to mind something I have posted elsewhere: While I am overjoyed at the rescue of Jessica Lynch, I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. I can just see it coming.

Katie Cuttie, Wolf and the usual suspects asking, "Why did American troops rescue just the white girl and not the black girl?"

Big Al Sharpton: "Yes, just the way it goes, got get the white girl and do nothing about the black girl?"

"This is just another example of blatant discrimination of the Bush Administration and the Republican Party," I can see the Rev. Jackson saying. Charlie Rangle will add, "Yes, our troops kill Iraqi women and children and then do not rescue any black girls!"

It is only a matter of time before the Left takes this route as American troops edge closer to winning this "quagmire" of a war from a flawed "on the cheap" plan that was doomed to fail.

The "shock and awe" is the realization by the American people that our news media (except FOX) is nothing but a bunch of sniveling, snide anti-American leftists who employ vile, rude reporters who are generally unsubstantial and mean-spirited people.

That is the shock and awe.

I posted yesterday that a friend who supports Bush but does not follow news and politics as closely as we freepers, called me from her job yesterday as the radio station they listen to at work carries CNN news reports. She actually got the impression we were losing! This before the Jessica rescue and such.

Many here were kind enough to point me to some good news sources to send to her. I hate to inundate someone with articles unrequested, but she said to please send them on. She was stunned to learn of the deception she had heard presented as "news".

Another to have her eyes opened is my sister who is the same type. Concerned citizen and Bush supporter, who really only watches evening news and scans the paper. She has turned to me for some info and is learning which sources are reliable. Not based on my say-so. By the actual sources I've pointed her to, themselves, and the ability to cross-check against daily events, it is clear who is telling the truth and who is deliberately underplaying and misreporting the story here.

Maybe some of the most leftist reporters will adjust some of their political leanings a little more to the middle or to the right as a consequence of their battlefield experiences. It can't hurt.
