FREE REPUBLIC NETWORK
The Free Republic Network is pleased to announce that its chairman, Scott Swett, is scheduled to appear on the Fox News Network's Morning show - Fox and Friends at approximately 8:00 EST, Wednesday, April 2, 2003 to discuss the Rally for America and the Network's support of our troops fighting terrorism throughout the world and in support of our troops in the war in Iraq.
Scott will be representing Freepers far and wide in this rare network media opportunity to talk about our support of the US Military, President Bush and our desire to see a free Iraqi people.
In a six to eight minute segment Scott will be highlighting the recent nationwide rallies. Over the course of the month of March in over 100 cities over 150,000 people attended rallies in support of our troops.
Recent news polls show over 72% of the American people support President Bush and our troops. According to Fox News consultant Dick Morris, over 50% of the American people support the war even if it takes over a year. "Most Americans understand that removing Saddam Hussein's regime from power is an integral part of the War on Terror, and we want to honor those who are accomplishing this tough and dangerous job," said Swett in a pre-broadcast interview. "As for those who claim war never solves anything, let them take the matter up with the Taliban."
Join us and please share your support with Scott as he heads into downtown Washington D.C. to talk with Fox and Friends about Freepers!

There is another way to look at this. What if I had not been so disappointed that you left me off your ping list? What if I hadn't noticed at all? The cup is half full. really. *smile*

I was thinking yesterday that maybe it would be a good idea to send photos of our rallies to the troops in care packages. It would show them that there are real people out here gathering to show our appreciation and support and they could pass them around for others to see.
KLIF who co-sponsored the I LOVE AMERICA RALLY in Dallas will be having a packing party on April 16th for those interested.
The FIRST Of FIVE Packing Parties Will Be On April 16th!
Talk Radio 570 KLIF has made a 5-month commitment to the Troops to send care packages through August and hope everyone will stick with us throughout the summer. (Remember- even if the war is over tomorrow- these troops aren't coming home for quite awhile!)
Packing party # 1: April 16th at Resource Concepts, 2940 Eisenhower in Carrollton, from 4pm to 7pm.
Join Greg Knapp for a live broadcast, free food and to pack up boxes going to our distributer in California to send to the troops! There will be paper and markers and crayons provided to write messages and opportunities or everyone to meet others who are behind our troops and want to do something to show their spirit and support! See you there!

Great Report!
So, while driving to work today I did an interview with American Family Radio! He had seen Scott on Fox this morning and so since IT was at work I did the interview. The interviewer was located in Tupelo, Mississippi and used the terms "Communist News Network" and spoke very derisively of CBSNBCABCNPR types. The interview went well and I was very supportive of our troops and directed the audience to FR and Free Republic Network

TS

Ok, I'm so embarrassed. For the life of me, I can't remember what CNN is really supposed to be short for.
Something News Network. I just can't remember what the 'C' is really suppose to be.
Commie, Clinton I know... there are several others that I can't remember too.

Hey Scott, you knocked em dead. Great job. The term "Peace Riots" has been introduced into the US Lexicon and everyone watching FoxNews around the world will now think of Free Republic and Free Republic Network every time they see a rally with flags. Gotta love that!
This was the dream that saw Free Republic Network set up. Networking with other organizations and putting a public face on Free Republic through activism has been the goal. Now that is becoming a reality. Very cool.
FRN activities in the press around the nation, BobJ in Newsweek and now you on FoxNews world-wide, looks like the boat has come in fella. Oh wait a minute, that's May 31st.
Great job.
To: SerpentDove
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey, what is the Bible verse your screen name comes from?
I like to use it and haven't memorized the cite!
Thanks,
TS

Don't forget Bob J in USA Today on Monday and the NY Times blaming us for the Blixie Chix Debacle!

Heh heh heh, I said Newsweek didn't I. Whoops. USA Today is correct fella. The N.Y. Times was being a little generous, but the publicity is much appreciated. LOL
They shot. They scored!!!
Yeah!

Wow! Scott speaks and DOW futures are up 130 points.
