...We didn't shock them and we didn't awe them in Baghdad. The phrase makes us look like foolish braggarts. ...We haven't caught Bin Laden so we're transferring the blame for 9/11 to Saddam Hussein...Hussein is a bad man who didn't have anything to do with 9/11....We have stories of biological, chemical and nuclear weapons in this country. If we were losing this war, would we...use them? I'm afarid we might. Hussein has chemical and biological weapons. If he is about to lose this war, will he use them? I'm afraid he might.

Outrageous! He gets away with this because it's just his opinion? Do the sponsers know he's equating our military and leadership with that of Iraq's and Saddam? Do they know he thinks we're "foolish braggarts?" He's so ignorant he thinks someone on Bush's payroll wrote the "shock and awe" phrase. And he wishes HIS America had never gotten into this war. I've got news for him. If OUR America hadn't dragged HIS America into the war, his children and grandchildren would have to deal with Saddam or one of his sons. And in the meantime, 10's or 100's of thousands more Iraqi men, women and children would be threatened, starved, tortured and killed. For what? So Andy can say that he thinks the war is wrong. "Just my opinion."? It's time for Rooney to leave - PERMANENTLY. I've heard enough of his phoney, ignorant, anti-Bush, anti-Republican, unpatriotic, unAmerican, nonsupportive, nonproductive, assinine opinions. The majority of REAL AMERICA doesn't agree with you Andy. Get it through your head! It's time to turn out the lights and go home - For Good!

No kidding, i didn't even know who he was until recently, so i that most non-prescription drug taking americans have never heard of him.

Rooney doesn't have the slightest idea of what Shock and awe is. If he had been standing one black away form where all the bombs landed it would be shock and brown spots in his skivies. The Awe comes with the presicison and accuracy of the tomahawk missiles fired from 600 miles away.

It could be said viewers actually expect that Rooney's opinion will somehow be as poignant as a runaway freight train over a cliff.
