Fox - Ollie has a medical officer next to him to talk about Marine's health. Plenty of food and water around. Don't always get a good night's sleep, but that's the nature of war. Ollie adds that there's plenty of ammo, too. About a dozen wounded so far. If they're forward, they're stabilized. If severely wounded, CH-46 gets them out of there.

If any of you would like to see a Disney animation of the supply line thing and how the troops move, you can go to the boxed set of Frank Capra's "Why We Fight", sold under the cover, "World War Two" go to the DVD 2 of 5: the show "Divide And Conquer" at aproximately 44:40 you can watch a very nice illustraion of exactly how it works...very cool

I always thought their use of CW was a foregone conclusion. One of Levanthal's reports overnight said that he was briefed by the Marines about several finds they've made around Iraq. He was told not to say what those finds were, but that they gave a very strong indication that Iraq would use CW.

A metal fragment found at the scene by British journalist Robert Fisk carried various markings, including "MFR 96214 09". This, our reader pointed out in an email, is a manufacturer's identification number known as a "cage code".

Cage codes can be looked up on the internet (www.gidm.dlis.dla.mil), and keying in the number 96214 traces the fragment back to a plant in McKinney, Texas, owned by the Raytheon Company.

this is very cool stuff, at this point Disney was a leader but hadn't become the monster icon it would become.....the facts that these illustration are in these films by Frank Capra are incidential, but now they are collectors items because they are clearly "Disney Style" maps and everything...very, very cool...and this one shows just how cool these supply are and how they work....
