Two missiles launched by Iraq:
One hit harmlessly in the desert.
One was intercepted by a Patriot near Naseriyah

How about those Patriots!!! I'm most impressed by how we are apparently able to track 'em, compute the target area, compare with some type of map apparently, then decide to hold our fire (and save some big bucks) if they aren't going to hit anything important.

I'm really impressed with the Patriots. Must make one think how very effective our 'Star Wars' is getting to be. Every effective and innovated idea for our defense, the d*mned libs are against. Ultra maroons, usefull idiots or enemies? No other choices.

About the Expos and Blue Jays playing God Bles America during the 7th inning stretch. I happen to be a Yankees fan and I wondered what the response would be to the song being performed during the game last night (Yankees played in Toronto. The fans there were very kind and give a nice cheer and ovation at the conclusion of the song. Way to go Toronto!

German NTV's Baghdad cam is a little ways to the right and ahead of the CBS cam, much clearer sound, very little wind noise, which sometimes can be mistaken for distant explosions. Check it out if you have broadband (225k stream)

A lot more bombing on webcam & very, very dark sky to the left behind that dome, which I assume is a mosque. You know there are things hidden in the mosques, just wonder when or if we'll take a pot shot at some of them? Wouldn't want to live there with that annoying music playing all the time.
