Just sent them an e-mail asking them to educate the public more in their reporting rather than political bashing. Gave specific examples of what we need to hear more about and how they could better, as journalists, provide more background into Iraq and how people there have lived in terror for 30+ years.

Also said in a post 9/11 world, we'd hoped the networks could move away from political ideology and do their work as journalists in a manner befitting their profession.

I think the bagcam is showing bogus pictures, at least part of the time.

Went over to the company coffee shop looking for Necco (tm) wafers but settled on Sweet Tarts (tm) (the big ones in the long roll). Gotta prevent the inevitable bloodsugar and caffeine drop as long as possible. Must stay alert. Must keep pressing F5....

As far as checkpoint procedures, I'm not exactly sure what he said.

From Ragtime Cowgirl's transcript:
Re. check points :"We always maintain the inherant right of self defense." 'Our check points have to remain alert and vigilant. We ahe not had a change of rules...increased vigilance..."

CENTCOMs official transcript has not yet been put up for today.

Using MSNBC #2 and CBS. CBS is the one with sound, I think.

I've been using PMSNBC Bag-cam. It usually has sound but appeared to lose it about an hour ago. Just found that it does have sound but it has drastically been reduced. I hope I'm not holding anything hot or breakable when they restore it. Got my volume up to maximum.
