Saddam was wearing his military uniform during the Rather interview. He had no glasses, a tassel on his uniform that went from his right shoulder to his right breast pocket.

I do not believe it was an electronic hookup for sound or anything like that. The first video after the war started, showed him in uniform, with glasses and no tassel.

No one (on our end) has apparently ever seen him with glasses. Wish we knew more...like, does he just need them for reading?? Pretty hard to match a double with the same visual defects AND facial features.

Just an observation.
