President Bush headed to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania today to speak about Homeland Security and Operation Iraqi Freedom to a crowd that included many Coast Guard members. The President thanked the Coast Guard for their duty in Operation Liberty Shield, and praised their readiness. Bush also took the opportunity to thank the men and women of the Armed Forces who are serving in Iraq. The President returned to Washington later in the day. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I didn't do anything! Really! Besides. on the front cover of our book is a pciture of Bush, so I don't need to break mine out, and I left the copy of the marine in the dorm.
I did, however, feed them a little info that I know. I can't give details now. More will come tonite. Let me just put it this way, you either would have been laughing your butt of because of all the idiocy, or madder than hell because these people are so ignornat. I was a little of both, but mostly laughing.

Thanks everyone and especially Mol for your happy and colorful welcome. Been lurking on this thread for a long time and finally decided to dip one toe in. Soon as I figure out all the little nuances of posting I'll do some more. This is such a great forum.

Thanks Mol, I'll take a peek! Hope it comes with a translator. Don't think I'm going to be doing anything fancy for awhile but there's no time like the present to start learning I guess.

Yes, I've noticed. I vaguely seem to remember that it might be from the Vietnam War, but I could be wrong on that. I know he is older than what he appears.
