President Bush headed to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania today to speak about Homeland Security and Operation Iraqi Freedom to a crowd that included many Coast Guard members. The President thanked the Coast Guard for their duty in Operation Liberty Shield, and praised their readiness. Bush also took the opportunity to thank the men and women of the Armed Forces who are serving in Iraq. The President returned to Washington later in the day. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Good luck at your audition Wednesday. I hope you get it. Is it for a concert thing or a musical?

Freepmail to you, too.

I nearly fell out of my chair. Of course I know that Bush will wipe the floor with her in the election, but still. That just means more Hitlery in the mainstream.
You have mail.

Tom Ridge has worn those for quite awhile..
Explains why he frowns so much, you see, I wear the same kind of hearing aides..it is exhausting to spend your every waking minute trying to understand what is going on around you..
I don't wear my hair up, because alot of times, when people see those H.A.s of mine, they either shout or exagerrate (sp?) their speech, and that just makes things worse..
It is very hard, indeed..

Howdy Doody!

what GREAT news. I HAVE been praying for you.... BLESS YOU! Thank you SO MUCH! It was absolutely an awesome time ... if you know what it means to fall under the power of God ... picture me there four times in those three days.
Some years ago an elderly intercessor in my church gave me a very unusual Scripture that she'd been praying for me. She had no idea what it meant but I sure did: Ecclesiastes 11:7 "Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun." She said God gave her that verse for me and so she kept praying it for me ... I then told her that I was born with an extreme sensitivity to light that hinders me a lot. (I'm also severely myopic, astigmatic, and have amblyopia and nystagmus; can you say legally blind without correction? lol) At the conference, one of the pastors called out a word of knowledge for someone whose eyes have a "sensitivity to light." You can imagine I got right up there for prayer. He waited on the Lord to know exactly how to pray for me when he saw how thick are my glasses ... and he felt God wanted him to pray for a complete healing of everything that is wrong with my eyes. God never gives out a word like that unless He's going to follow through and complete the work, but as with the hearing, it is a gradual healing, so I am leaving the completion of this in His hands and time. The pastor said he has prayed for several other people for conditions similar to mine and sometimes the healing spontaneously occurred later. Who knows why; God is sovereign.
Sometimes God gives us quantum leaps ahead in faith. He did that for me at this series of meetings. And it was wonderful to see so many others being healed of all kinds of afflictions, diseases, and pains. Jesus reigns!

The scarey thing about the "quotes" from Hillary is that they sounded real!

Thank you for posting that. When I saw the hearing aid, I wondered, Is that why he frowns so much? Struggling to hear, and not hearing, and by not hearing, not being able to engage in what's going on around him?
