Explains why he frowns so much, you see, I wear the same kind of hearing aides..it is exhausting to spend your every waking minute trying to understand what is going on around you..

I don't wear my hair up, because alot of times, when people see those H.A.s of mine, they either shout or exagerrate (sp?) their speech, and that just makes things worse..

It is very hard, indeed..

Thank you for posting that. When I saw the hearing aid, I wondered, Is that why he frowns so much? Struggling to hear, and not hearing, and by not hearing, not being able to engage in what's going on around him?
