'I am still in shock and awe at being fired,' writes Peter Arnett in his first piece for the DAILY MIRROR, a day after being fired by NBC and NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC. 'I report the truth of what is happening here in Baghdad and will not apologize for it...'

This guy is a total enemy not only of freedom but also of rational thought. He spouts his opinions and confuses them with the "truth." He see's only what his Iraqi handlers allow him to see, but feels qualified to tell us what the "truth" is back in the US.

Arnett need a dose of truth. Right in his face.

arnett would not know the truth if it bit him on the ass.

The sob needs to be tried for treason and hung by his neck from a lightpole.

Too late. You already apologized. Didn't work. You were fired anyways.

Well, the important thing is that Peter can still collect two paychecks for his propaganda work.

Arnett's truth is downright treasonous and yet he still can't understand why he's being fired. His intellectual reasoning is astonishingly deficient.

Didn't take him long to lose his (FAKE) remorse.

Idiot, psycho, treason, enemy of the state.

he's in Iraq and the only things he knows are what he sees the Information Ministry spout on Iraq TV and what his minders tell him.

It is depressing to know that when Mr. Arnett returns to the United States nothing will happen to him. In my opinion, he should be arrested and tried for treason. I do NOT agree with the embedded "journalists" with the military. There are no true reporters any longer.

After Arnett is embedded, does he pay the camel directly for services rendered, or is there an Arab pimp involved? Perhaps Scott Ritter could enlighten us.

He was fired for doing "analysis" his bosses didn't like. Now he's stating he was fired for reporting the facts.

Who's lying, Benedict or NBC?

Frankly, both are playing CYA and bumping into each other.

If outing Arnett is the only shock and awe of the whole war campaign, then it is almost worth it on that point alone. Almost...
