Many apologies for not getting this posted last night. Rest assured though, the BBQ was worth the delay.

What's new today: a pair of NOAA Indian Ocean satellite images, which update every six hours. Also, a couple of elleptical global projection montages, also self-updating.

Pretty cool stuff.

Whewee. Gonna get hot, hot, hot towards end of week. Hope it's a short warm front and will cool a bit again before the summer stuff really sets in. A brief respite if nothing else I hope.

Prairie (way cool maps Sabertooth)

see dammit. now we are getting into the Iraqi hot season.
how I wish we would have gone at the late January time frame, as was discussed, instead of piddling around with the damned worthless UN for two months longer than we should have. dammit

Watervapor composite is strange-looking. Makes this planet look like Jupiter.

Yeah, I haven't seen anything like this before for Earth. Really showcases the coriolis winds.
