None of us Coloradans posted an official "Operation Infinite Freep" thread this weekend, which would have made it easier for the rest of you to find us. What happened was that the pro-troop rally reports and photos all kind of got merged with another thread. Sorry! To see them, go to -
Pro-Troop rallies in Longmont Co organized by 16 yr. old
and start reading at around reply #55 to #59, and then #71-#74 - more or less.
Quick summary - there were at least 6 rallies here in N. Colorado -
- Special mid-morning rally of 150-200 troop supporters on I-25 bridge midway between Windsor exit and Ft. Collins / Harmony exit.
- Weekly Greeley rally 11AM-12 (photos available on above thread)
- Weekly Ft. Collins rally 12-1PM (photos available on above thread)
- Special Longmont rally 11-??? Was advertised on radio. A number of Freepers started out at this one and hung around through the next one ---
- Weekly Longmont rally 2-3PM (photos avail.)
- Weekly Loveland rally - usu. 1:30-2:30, but extended hours this week (photos avail.)
Now that fivetoe's Loveland report is in, it's official --- All of our usual weekly rallies had record turnouts this week! Average Americans are getting fed up with watching the "nonpartisan pacifists" dominating the airwaves, and are getting motivated to get out there to do what it takes to get their message of support for our troops heard loud and clear!

Thank you, Colorado! Is anyone cataloging all these rallies, the numbers in attendance, etc? (The ones reported here at least?) Reason - convincing the (still) anti-war lefties I know of the growing support for America, for the war effort, for the troops, and for the President - countering ALL of the hate-America propaganda going out. We need a chronicle. I am not the one to do it - but perhaps others are?

I believe I saw "Mr Weld" and (spouse?) (I yelled "GO FREEPERS! as I waited for the stoplight on 34 to her) on Saturday, while literally speeding to Home Depot to fix a minor plumbing issue at home (I got a little too carried away fixing the kitchen faucet)
Saw four of "our" folks, and one, very depressed older gentleman with a "The pope even says the war is immoral" or something similar. He was gone by the time I came out of Home Depot.

Well - if anyone wants numbers, the special Longmont Rally for America (officially 11:30 to 12:30 but it started early & lasted until around 3:30!) started out with around 65 people but with all of the coming & going during the 4+ hrs and the surge at around 2pm there must have been at least 100 - 120 pro-America people there.

...had record turnouts this week!HOO YEAH! I showed up late to the one in Ft. Collins and could not find a parking spot on our side close enough to get there on time...so I just circled and honked. Done my heart good after so long of there just being a few of us to see so many people! It was GREAT!
We love ya Troops! Get home safe when the job is done! 'Til then...take names and KICK ASS!

Got this email last night from Wild_VoiceSF's twin brother. It includes 8 photos of the Buckley AFB Freep 16 days ago. (PS to Mollynme - can you ping this to any other Freepers who were at Buckley with you? Thanks)
Hello!
Life has been a little crazy, but we wanted to take you up on your offer to post these to the Anti War Rally--3-15-03 thread for posterity.
.....Sorry it took so long - it was great to meet you all and we look forward to seeing you at future events. If there are any upcoming in the greater Denver area, just let us know.
Thanks,
