John said he was from New Zealand and had gotten American citizenship before? or during the first Gulf War. He sounds Iraqu to me. I never did like him....can anyone tell me why CNN fired him years back. There was some sort of scandal or such. I stored it in that part of the brain that has turned to gray matter, I guess!!!!!

CNN has decided to drop Peter Arnett, two newspapers reported.

That piece was written before they fired him, of course.
