Reminder: Rally set to back U.S. Forces: Today@ 4:00pm(Anderson, Indiana)

Man your signs and grab your flags!!!

 

The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports that there will be a "Support the Troops Rally" for 4pm Sunday afternoon at the Crystal Arch in front of the City Building on Eight Street.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post on Columbus Avenue continue to work out details of what will happen that day but invite everyone to come who supports the troops.

To quote from the paper:

"Were hoping for a good turnout", said Mike Sansone(Commander of Post 226)

"To me, I know everyone has the freedome of speech, but you see people marching against the war; thats what happened during the Vietnam War. It does affect the troops and it plays right into the enemy's hands."

" I think if we had more rallies like this showing support for the troops, things would be better off", Sansone said. ________________________________________________

I used to live in anderson, My wife grew up there and my father in law was very well known in the community. Most of my in-laws graduated from Anderson High. but seriously if everyone who is haveing a rally posts it on FR its gonna be hard to read the news. good luck freegards
