Please join us for the "Support Our Troops" rally this Sunday March 30th 11am-1pm at the County Administration Center located along Harbor Drive between Grape and Ash downtown. KOGO is joining forces with the other Clear Channel San Diego stations and Operation Homefront, our campaign to help spouses of deployed military personnel. We want to show our support for America and our troops taking part in Operation Iraqi Freedom. We will be passing out free American Flag "Support Our Troops" signs and we urge you to wear red, white and blue and bring your signs and banners. Listen to KOGO's Morning News (5am-9am), the Roger Hedgecock Show (3pm-6pm) and the Stacy Taylor Show (6pm-9pm) for more details. Join us Sunday as we display our patriotism and show our support for America and the troops.
Here is a report and a couple of pictures from our local newspaper.

One-hundred-and-one balloons flew over Clarksville Saturday in honor of 101st Airborne Division soldiers deployed to Iraq. The balloons were released by children during a rally attended by about 400 people on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
"We're all military here," rally organizer Gina Roederer said. "This is beyond my dreams. I cried I don't know how many times today."
Saturday's was the second major rally in Clarksville since Operation Iraqi Freedom began. Last week, some 300 people attended a similar demonstration across town on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
Missy Taylor said she wouldn't miss the opportunity to show her support for her husband and the other absent Fort Campbell soldiers. Taylor plans to send pictures of the rally to her husband with the hope of boosting morale of the troops
"In the majority of phone calls, they ask, 'Are they protesting against us?'" she said.
Her son Caleb, 11, stood next to her holding a sign that read, "My dad's got your back." The top of the sign contained a picture of a pilot.
