The Vietnamese immigrant community has traditionally been a supporter of the Republican Party, based on the thinkingreality that the GOP was more anti-Communist than ,unlike the Democratic Party.

My former roommate, who fled from Communist Vietnam to the United States in 1974, cannot believe that we have those serving in government official capacities, such as our FBI, and the U.S. Presidency, as well as our public universities, embracing commmunists and communism with great zeal. She views commmunists as criminals who will kill with no conscience and unless you have money to buy yourself out of distress or possibly being killed by these criminals, you are doomed. She thinks anybody that embraces communist ideals are crazy.

I watched that Michael Moore make a complete ass of himself at the Oscars ceremony.

It's over for the New Left (the "revised" Old Leftover) commies..and it's over for Michael Moore.

The decent ones that escaped the communist hell tend to be industrious and virtuous people. They make some of us look like slackers. I've read that there are now more property owners in Orange County with the name "Nguyen" than "Smith."

There was a fair sized group of Vietnamese at the San Diego Rally today and a small group of vocal Assyrians supporting our troops and President Bush.

I work with many Vietnamese people.

I work with 4. They all hate communism, and they don't think much of Saddam Hussein. I can't say as I do either.

Woohoo, I also was there. It's real heartening to see true American support our troops and President Bush. BTW, the rally support our troops was AWESOME... Can't wait to see pictures from freepers.

Hi, thanks for the ping. I lived in Garden Grove for 14 years. The Vietnamese are great Americans. As are alot of refugees from totalitarian countries...Cubans, Vietnamese, our country is blessed to have them.

...Our Country can LEARN a lot from these Freedom-Loving People...

...especially in Time of War...

...with an Enemy that is now...

...just around the Corner and...

...up your street..?
