[history]
This is terrible and barbaric news, but not unexpected. Pray for these fallen, whoever they may be.
March 30, 2003 -- At least one of the bodies of the four American soldiers discovered in a shallow grave was "brutalized and mutilated," Pentagon sources revealed yesterday. The corpses were unearthed in the vicinity of the "hospital" at Nasiriyah where U.S. Marines found evidence that the Iraqis had operated a torture chamber.

These reports can't be true... Hans Blix said that Iraq wouldn't do things that would set world opinion against them... that they would be restrained because of the pressure of world opinion. How can this be? Our UN wise-men tell us this kind of thing isn't possible! < / sarcasm >

Well now THAT is just 'lefty' thinking... 'That CAN'T be true.' 'I don't believe it.' 'If I just ignor this too, it will go away too, wont it?' 'If the POW's had just talked with their captor thugs, perhaps they could have come to some peaceful resolution so that torture wouldn't have been necessary. To follow Mr. Dascle's logic, the torture death of captive GI's only reflects their 'dismal' failure at individual diplomacy. Perhaps one of those 'human shields' could try to protect something meaningful... like an American Soldier.

The good Dr. De Genova of Columbia is probably ecstatic this morning. A great victory for all military hating democrats.. De Genova, Rangel, Daschle, Rather, Jennings, Streisand, the Clintons, Scott Ritter, (etc, ad nauseum) and of course the spherical porcine Michael Moore.

Yes, they can do DNA testing. In fact, one of the news reports said that they were, indeed, doing DNA testing on the remains of our brave soldiers.
And if I express my anger about this, I surely will get banned.

I am sure we can and will. Would someone post the picture of the other woman. Her eyes had a haunted look that cut me right to my heart. I have been praying for them all but her eyes ....

Yes, Shosana Johnson was the woman shown on TV. I believe there's also a third woman, Army Pfc. Lori Piestewa, 22, Tuba City, Ariz. I'll post the list as soon as I format it.

" I have a sinking feeling that this is the female soldier who was abused" Yea, I suspect there'd be an extended circus around her. If anything good can come out of this, maybe more graphic reports of this'll dissuade a few other pretty little things from joining the military thinking its a cute little adventure. (Flame away anyone
You'll only make PC morons of yourselves.)
Just look at her! She had no business being there.
