Actually, I was probably a little hard on the President in my post. I'm just sick and tired of our troops being forced to fight a politically correct war.
I'm also tired of people like Charlie Rangel publicly saying that our troops are TARGETING civilians, yet the President refuses to call that scumbag out on the carpet. That pisses me off.

I agree with you, old....my biggest fear is that we do succumb to too much "hand tying" and the medias cries that this is another Vietnam comes to pass....however, I will still stand by the president...he knows what he's doing...we have to stay in the favor of the world...the rest of the Arab world is starting to hinder us in minor ways...if we do what I want (drop the MOAB right in the middle of Baghdad) then it would probably turn into WWIII...however...I think a strategically well placed MOAB right outside of Baghdad in the desert, followed by a press briefing in which Tommy Franks says "oops we missed, more on the way"...well, ya know...psychological warfare can do wonders :o)

Well then, guess I was hard on my reply to your being hard on the President then .... as Emily Latila would often say .... "That's different! Never mind"!!

I can certainly appreciate your sentiments. As one who grew up in the pre-PC Badger State (Wisconsin), I would like to see the liberal pukes get what they deserve, but we live in a different world, and they protect themselves with the Constitution and Bill of Rights that they refuse to support.
The race hustlers are working this war and the courageous sacrifices of our troops for their own personal benefit. They continue to keep "their folks" down on the RAT Plantation. I believe that the only way to beat them and to awaken "their folks" to their own potential is the way that our President is dealing with them...just like the North Koreans...by not giving them the time of day! That is the ultimate humiliation...to be labeled totally irrelevent!

(I'm concerned about some of the same things you are, but I really don't think President Bush is concerned about his image OR restraining Rummy.)
