I was on vacation last week so I just found this thread. My prayers will go out for Texana. Hope she is doing well and I pray for a fast recovery.

UPDATE ON TEXANA!!

BOTTOM LINE--SHE'S DOING GREAT!!! PLEASE ACCEPT MANY THANK YOUS FROM BOTH OF US FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS !!!

She emailed me this afternoon with the following message:

"Hi - Surgery went great! In fact, the nurse who processed me said that they have a prayer circle each morning for the patients, their families, and the drs doing the procedures. Isn't that nice? I felt like I was in great hands."

"Thanks for all the prayers! I'm finding typing this with one eye a little difficult -- I'll write more later when I can see better."

Heavenly Father,

Thank you so very much for the grace of a successful cataract surgery for Texana! We call for a quick recovery with 100% paper-grading abilities restored in time for term papers!

I give gratitude for the lovely prayer warriors who have joined with me to give Texana a bit of prayer support during her surgery today. Father, please bless each and every one who has posted here or lurked and prayed or thought good thoughts in Texana's or my direction.

Father, we are all grins here. Please take this joy and share it with someone's heart who needs lifting.
