We are not reporting the real number of Iraqi troop deaths for some reason.

We arnen't in this war to generate body counts. The Iraqis are going to minimize their combat deaths and maximize civilian deaths for propaganda purposes. O'Reilly said on his show that around 35,000 Iraqis have been killed, but he did not reveal his sources.

Way too low of a number killed. ...

Can't use the real numbers, might make petey jennings, barney frank, tommy the dashhole and teddy kennedy and hillary cry.

Now, do you really wanna see hillary crying with her amscarra running down her face? Have a heart, let's keep the numbers low and let the enemy within sleep.

That's odd.................I haven't seen this on ABC.

It might take petey jennings the french canadian a week or two to get his composure. He will cover the funeral ...

I am getting sick of the Republican Guard being called elite. Their training is no better. The difference is that they are better paid, tend to be better equipped and are supposed to be more loyal.

If I have a gun and you have a stick, that doesn't make me more elitie than you.

"We fired 40 missiles and we had 40 hits...." Major Hugh Cate told Reuters.

Tomorrow or the next day they will have another raid, and inevitably one of the missiles will miss. At that point, one of our esteemed journalists will ask Rumsfeld, "Doesn't this indicate that our missiles are failing to hit their targets?"

I believe that when the term "elite" is applied to the Iraqi military, it's used to describe those soldiers who actually have shoes.

I'm starting to enjoy the headcount, every time I hear of another coalition member killed, captured, found buried in a "shallow grave", or bombed by a terrorist, it makes me curiously pleased to hear that we are getting WAY more of them.

I guess I'm not a very good Christian today.

"I seem to recall that the II Marine EF is out there somewhere...not being disclosed, with 10,000+ men.......Landshark.....Candygram!!!"

Thanks. I knew there was a unit no one was covering... just couldn't get a handle on it. Maybe 25,000+ coming from Jordan?
