I use two holsters. One is an upside down shoulder holster, the other is a waistband clip where I can reach through the jacket while turning sideways to the attacker to shoot through the jacket. I can re-position the clip holster easily if I want to open the jacket.

I started with the Galco IWB Royal Guard and use it all the time in all weather. I just can't get at it when I buttoned up because of freezing weather or rain.

I was attacked during a pouring rainstorm one time so I do know the bad guys don't let weather stop them.
