I started with the Galco IWB Royal Guard and use it all the time in all weather. I just can't get at it when I buttoned up because of freezing weather or rain.
I was attacked during a pouring rainstorm one time so I do know the bad guys don't let weather stop them.

Perhaps ask a seamstress to do some sewing to your jacket where you will be able to reach inside. see #39
