Seems intentional that they make no mention of how many dead enemy combatants there are. I guess saying that while we lost 10 men, but the enemy lost 1000, would somehow boost morale and public opinion.

Well, this is a CNN-sourced article, so I guess we should be thankful that this article at least covered this topic at all.

Maybe, but I don't want to get into a Vietnam style body counting. Besides, it could even backfire. The Left would say how unfair it is and we're just slaughtering them for the "fun" of it.
