May these fallen Marines rest in peace. They have given the ultimate sacrifice.
And thank God for the decency of the Iraqi civilians who buried whom they could and helped the Marines find their fallen comrades-in-arms.

Seems intentional that they make no mention of how many dead enemy combatants there are. I guess saying that while we lost 10 men, but the enemy lost 1000, would somehow boost morale and public opinion.

Thank you God for the heroes.May their loved ones be comforted.

Some Iraqi civilians came out and showed where they had buried two others, he said. The Iraqis also handed over the personal effects of at least one of the Marines, including photographs and some mail, Dyer said.
This makes me feel good for some reason.

As long as the media is campaigning their agenda our kids fallen in the battle field will be left without honor. Because that is what they do inorder to justify their position, our kids are made to look what they are not.
Have we forgotten 911 so fast? Where is the common sense? God forgive us if those that return from such inferno are made to look guilty like those who returned from Vietnam. This is so demonic the only thing I find myself doing is praying.

And thank God for the decency of the Iraqi civilians who buried whom they could ...All your comments brought out the humanity of this situation, in the midst of death. Yes, I feel good that these men died for some people who cared. It has been easy these last few days to forget the humanity of these Iraqis.
Prayers lifted up for these men and their families. I hope some of these stories make it home. There might be some comfort in them.
