OK, guys, I know most of the posts are about the war, and I hate to get off the subject a wee bit, but as I am a college student, ( a VERY conservative, 46 yr. old one) I was listening to a conversation in one of my classes yesterday, and need some help from you very knowledgable freepers to be able to persuade a somewhat liberal classmate as to the "religion of Peace". He was telling the teacher that he (ok, he was parroting the libs, ) can't really blame the Muslims, and the Taliban, and whatever other waste of DNA believes their crap, because the US just has always pissed them off and that is why we are in the predicament we are now. Anyway, believe it or not, my teacher said no,no, not true and started to enlighten this guy on how they are still in the stoneage, on and on, but when he said, although the Koran itself doesn't teach them to kill the infidels.... I thought, I believe I have read direct quotes on Freep from other posts quoting just those things from the Koran. Anyone out there can give me a few comebacks? I don't have access to a Koran, and admit my knowledge is limited to what I have read here and a little elsewhere. TIA, and I LOVE OUR TROOPS!!!!!

SPIRITUALLY: No., because when we declare "one nation under God", the Christian's God is a triune God while the Muslim's is one entity called "Allah", who is never a heavenly father, nor is he ever called "Love" in the 99 excellent names.

The Quran (Koran) is the guide book for the Mohammedan Cult, and it is a dark ages cult. The god of the Quran is not the God of the Bible, contrary to what Muslims believe.
The God of the Bible, has different attributes than the god of the Quran. They are not alike at all. The God of the bible tells what sin is, and allah has some differnet things that the calls "sin".

Doesn't the Koran talk about all these so-called (cowardly) warriors who get 22 virgins when they die too? But the good part is there is no guarantee as to what these virgins look like. They could all look like Aunt Loweezy of "Snuffy Smith" fame or Phyllas Diller before surgery.
