NEW YORK (AP) -- A Columbia University professor told an anti-war gathering that he would like to see "a million Mogadishus" -- referring to the 1993 ambush in Somalia that killed 18 American servicemen.
At Wednesday night's "teach-in" on the Columbia campus, Nicholas De Genova also called for the defeat of U.S. forces in Iraq and said, "The only true heroes are those who find ways that help defeat the U.S. military." And he asserted that Americans who call themselves "patriots" are white supremacists.

Somebody please let the Professor know that I can't get him a million Mogadishus but I wouldn't mind making him the main attraction and central figure of one more.

"The young mind is too idealistic and vulnerable to hear such rubbish"
Yes, and the communist know this. They just don't consider it rubbish. To them, it is the key to victory.
I was only 14 when the Communist took over Cuba, but I remember their first priority was to take control of the education system. I think the same was true in Nicaragua.
Kids from age 5 were given wooden guns and taught to hate America. It takes just a few years to indoctrinate a young mind.
From my observation, they worked their way into the US education system in the late 60s, and it has been downhill from then.
Public schools and the University community have become a cesspool of hate America.
It is so sad that parents have yet to see what is happening, and they still send their kids off to these centers of leftist indoctrination.

I am constantly surprised by the restraint of the American conservative. Wish that I could share in that restraint. If I find myself within range of this scumbag, well, let's just say that I hope that he kissed his mother goodby earlier in the day. Enough is enough. I've taken an oath to support and defend the Constitution against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic. If this POS does not count as a domestic enemy, THEN NOTHING DOES...

Good points. Arafat did the same thing on the West Bank. Under his direction, the eductional system put into place a doctrine of hate into the school system, including the textbooks.
The left has been in bed with Muslims for decades--they were in bed with the Nazis in World War II. What many people forget is that Nazism and Fascism are simply forms of socialism. And socialism is Marxism, which has in its foundations anti-semitism, along with anti-capitalism of course. No wonder the left doesn't want us in Iraq--they support the socialist Ba'ath party.
Just tonight on TV I heard Muslim Americans in Detroit decrying the war in Iraq because "Muslims" should not fight other Muslims. This is dangerous thinking. People who put their religion above their country cannot and will not be loyal to America.
Anyone who is moderate or conservative must refuse to contribute any money at all to Universities or colleges which employ professors who preach hatred against the USA.
And with the public school system, parents must get involved and demand a curriculum and staff that is not a fifth column attack on America.
God Help us. Its not too late. But the clock is ticking.

He said De Genova was a last-minute invitee, was just one of about 25 speakers and "did not represent the general tone of the event, which was highly educational. Then why is nobody talking about anything be De Genova?

There were like 500 or more people of Mogadishus killed in this incident. Is this professor calling for the deaths of 500+ million black people? Has Jesse or Al heard about this?

Prof De Genova's comments are worse than presented here. He equates patriotism with genocide and white nationalism.
