Please update the headline of this thread to reflect the fact that it was a missile strike.
PS thanks for all the hard work you're doing to keep the forum tidy right now

So far, it's only CNN that's quoting those Kuwaiti officials. Neither MSNBC nor Fox News have this as a missile as of yet.

Sky News says it definitely was a missile, and it hit a shopping mall.

Why do people joke in a thread like this? (Not you.) The anxiety level in Tel Aviv just pegged.

no sirens or indications of patriot's.It was low altitude anti ship missile. Radar didn't pick it up.
Crap, now they know how to get them in there.

Are you series? This is Hugh! Quick run out of the shower. Bring the moose and cheese.
Enough already. Everybody gets it, for the millionth time. The thing about real wit is its originality.

It was probably my neighbor. Poured gasonline on the pile of leaves, realized he did not have any matches, went and fetched them from the house, returned and lit the match. Garden Fuel Air Bomb. Kablooie...there go the neighbors windows.

I figured they've been firing them towards Kuwait in order to see how they could avoid the patriots. Now since they have it right they can shot a chem/bio warhead right to Israel.

15:04 PST KUWAIT CITY (AP) -- A large explosion rocked a major shopping mall in the Kuwaiti capital early Saturday, according to a security official.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the explosion was heard shortly before 2 a.m. (6 p.m. EST Friday) at Souq Sharq, one of Kuwait's largest malls.
It was not immediately clear if the explosion was caused by a missile or if there were casualties.

But they only have a 90-100 KM range if I remember right. Not much of Iraq within that range. Basra. Are there still holdouts in Az Zubayr and Umm Qasr?

This was shot, if these reports are true, at a shopping mall in Kuwait City at
2:00 a.m. local time (approximately).
So it was not designed to create the maximum tragedy.
So what gives? Target practice for 'somewhere else'?
