Gallows humor....It's a tradition on F.R.....

There are few times that it is inappropriate...death of a child etc.

Get thicker skin if you live on FR......

NeverGore

You sure I need thicker skin or is it thinner compassion?

There's apparently a Patriot battery right next to the mall.

But I doubt if this missile is accurate enough to have been targetted at anything much smaller than the city.

What else is nearby?

The Royal Palace. Very close to the mall.

The Royal Palace. Very close to the mall.

Hope it has a bunker that they're using these days.

Perhaps, maybe we'll find out exactly what they've been firing at Kuwait City. How far is Kuwait City from the Iraqi border? 50-100 miles?

MISSILE LANDS IN WATER

What, then, caused the smoke over the city?

Don Teague MSNBC saying now he felt the concussion and jolt from the explosion. He was 2 miles away in the city.

If a missile landed in the ocean, it was a second missile. There are large metal fragments in the mall.

I think Fox said they were probably trying to hit a palace.

Kuwait City is 50 miles from the border. I HIGHLY doubt that the Al Samoud can cover 50 miles while hugging the ground.

There was an article posted here earlier today, actual interviews with Patriot battery guys.

All missles fired so far (10) were described as Abadils or Al Samouds.

All have apparently been fired from Basra at ranges of less than 90 miles.

From the map, I judge the border to be about 40 miles away at the closest point.

Not sure, but I thought I heard 30 miles. I was wondering if it could be used against troops somewhere. Basra? Any troops left inside Kuwait?
