Additional Politicians, Parties, Corporations and Governments Involved in 30 Year Conspiracy with Saddam Hussein
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption and abuse, said today that it has filed formal complaints against French President Jacque Chirac and senior officials of other governments and corporations for the unlawful proliferation of nuclear technology, the unlawful trafficking of arms and military technology, and the violation of United Nations (U.N.) trade sanctions imposed after the 1991 Gulf War, as well as additional U.N. sanctions relating to the so-called oil-for-food program. The complaints were filed with the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) and the European Police Office (EUROPOL).
In particular, Judicial Watch has requested an investigation and analysis, by means of forensic accounting, of financial contacts and dealings between Mr. Chiracs Rally for the Republic political party, other political parties and government officials and/or corporations involved in the unlawful activity. These unlawful activities involve private persons, corporations and government officials from: France, Iraq, the Peoples Republic of China, and Syria. It is likely that several other parties and countries, unknown at this time, are also involved in the criminal conspiracy.

President Chirac has also been accused by French authorities of accepting bribes while being Mayor of Paris. A French judicial commission ruled recently that Chirac could not be prosecuted until he left office. However, INTERPOL and EUROPOL have no constraints in beginning an investigation of President Chirac. He and his colleagues violations of law and public trust are a disgrace to the high ideals upon which the French Republic was founded, stated Judicial Watch Chairman Larry Klayman.

Ol' Larry needs to go back to law school and learn about minor things like the Treaty of Westphalia.

Larry, this is a good one. Perhaps the best since you sued the Witch.

This is getting good. Hell, I've got to dust off my check book and send Larry a little something. An effort of this magnitude to entertain us needs to be rewarded.

Folks, please. This is called a nuisance suit and in my humble opinion, anything that causes a nuisance to that filthy, nasty, terror baiting, smelly frog is AOK in my book. At this point I'd get more of a woody causing whatever legal grief possible to this creep, even more than Clinton.

By implication only, because the Treaty was concluded in 1648. However, we have claimed rights as a sovereign nation under that Treaty since 1776.

You gotta give 'ol Larry some credit here. The plan of attacking conservatives didn't help his fundraising efforts. But the French! everyone hates the French now so he sees gold in them there hatred. Bring on the fundraisers!!!
For the record, ever Frenchmen or woman I've met but one was incredibly cordial and helpful when I was in France. What I think of their government is another story altogether.

He filed a complaint with a police department. It doesn't get much more lame than this.
The best tidbit in the story didn't get posted.
Judicial Watch is in the process of opening branch offices in London and Brussels, called Judicial Watch Europe.

Why hasn't Larry sued Saddam? Come on, LK, let's prosecute some real government abuse.

I have traveled to france about 40 times to get
visas or to travel to other countries.
I have never found a nice frenchman!
Of course I have only been in airports and
paris, so I have never traveled in the
country.

Judicial Watch is in the process of opening branch offices in London and Brussels, called Judicial Watch Europe. Larry could open a branch office in Acapulco and call it "Judicial Watch - Thanks, suckers for my vacation home!"

My wife speaks fluent French so I think that helps. Even if you try to speak their language they do appreciate it and will try to communicate in English if for no other reason than to keep me from mangling their language.
I was in Quebec where we were eating at a restaurant and my wife spoke French to the waitress who thankfully replied in English so I could understand. A little later, an American couple demanded she speak English to them and she said she didn't know how. It was pretty funny since the couple was pretty peeved.
I've had people on the Metro give us tokens, people on the street walked us to our hotel, in short I was surprised.
I am willing to bet that it might be a little different now.
